The ointment is usually applied to the eye every 3 to 4 hours for 7 to 10 days, as directed by your doctor. Use neomycin, polymyxin, and bacitracin ophthalmic ointment exactly as directed. Do not use more or less of it or use it more often than prescribed by your doctor.
